Activate offer a range of family-friendly activity from days out in county parks with a picnic to family wild camping experiences. We ensure children and young people to appreciate the benefits of spending more time outdoors, learn new skills, unplug from the internet and get far enough from 4G to get their undivided attention.
Ex-service personnel and their families find it difficult to ask and receive help. We have found that it is often only when a family are a rock bottom that they will start to look for help. Prevention and early help for this community are few and far between. We can make an impact here so families do not get to crisis points by supporting earlier, providing positive regular activity and supporting the family build resilience. People with lived experience can engage ex-service personnel and their families in a way that civilians cannot. Challenges around mistrust in support services.
A truly great team building day or corporate event should make every single employee feel amazing. Activate can help your teams master new skills, conquer a challenge and beat the clock, or bond over a fire after setting up a camp in the wild. We will plan, deliver and support your teams to achieve things you and they never thought possible. Discover hidden talents, develop new skills and unleash their true potential. Some of our amazing activities include:
- Wild camping and cave camping – basic survival skills, learning to work together.
- Mountain walking and climbing (Night, Day or why not watch the Sunset?)
- Event challenges such as the Yorkshire or National Three Peaks
- Low level fell walking taking in the UK’s most scenic backdrops
- Navigation skills and map reading
